Dec 1. We went back in the morning and found Gordie. They'd gotten in about midnight and he'd slept on the truck all night. They had already unloaded the trailer, so I just went to the railroad yard, hitched it up, and paid the fee for unloading.
So we brought the trailer out here and started working on the car a little bit, and went downtown shopping. The girls got all their pins and ribbons and needles and I don't know what all they've been pestering me about, and I got some parts for the car. So we're just about ready to roll now.
So that was... Wednesday night, Thursday, and Friday. And I expected to leave this morning, but wasn't able to get everything ready, so I'm going to leave tomorrow morning early and stay at Tambo overnight, and then go on to Santa Cruz Monday.
We've seen Don Miguel Villafuerte, and Tato Orzi came out and visited us just before lunch today, and we'll probably go in and visit his mother before we leave. And then Don Miguel will be coming out tonight to visit us also.
We hope that the highway is good over [Siveri] and that we won't have any trouble tomorrow.
Tarantula just for fun.
