Nov 7. In the morning, we had breakfast inside. Ken went into town while I washed and dried the clothes, There was even a drier there! Even so, the weather was beautiful, and most of the clothes dried by themselves.
Ken came home with a wonderful pile of mail from the Embassy. Letters from the Eby's and S. Fink, plus pictures of our doll, Laurie. Sig and Pat would like to keep her, but how could we? Pat suggested her flying down to Lima on the 19th of November. That would be later than we had thought, but will have to work it that way.
We tried to make contact with Sig by Ham Radio, and thank the Lord that we were able to get through.
We decided to stay another night, since Ken has to work on the car some more. We were interviewed by the German Dept of HCJB. I wrote to Johanna and sent her a schedule to listen.
Nov 8. Ken worked on the car in the morning. Then we were invited for dinner to the Riffles. Had a wonderful time with them, plus a good meal. Afterwards, they drove us to their new home and the church building of the American Community.
Relaxed in the afternoon and were interviewed for "Top of the World."
