Oct 5. Had breakfast, lunch and supper at Wycliffe. Ken went into the city to get Laurie's birth certificate and Colombian visa. I washed and dried all our clothes and had a good time meeting missionaries. Doreen Williams' folks are in charge here and others know the Carlsons and NTMU.
Ken got back for supper. Didn't get the Colombian visa. Can't get it till Panama. Got Laurie's cert. and sent it to Pat. Met Bobby (nee Brown), a friend of Ken's from Wabanna. The Williams invited us for coffee after P.M. and we had a riotous time recounting tales.
Oct 6. Decided to stay another day and see the ruins of Teotihuacan. Left after breakfast and drove out in rain. It cleared up fine though it was terribly windy.

I didn't climb pyramids because of wind, though others did. The Butterfly Room was most interesting part with recent excavations and remodeling. Bought 2 obsidian objects at the tables down by the old museum after bargaining them down. Then went to New Museum and shops with beautiful leatherwork, but expensive. Got back after supper, after eating at a corner restaurant and confusing the waitress with our order of tacos.
