Decker Trip - Panamerican Highway 1966

Nov 21. Got up at 4 a.m. to get ready to meet the plane at 5:45. Didn't get there any too soon (we had been told also 6:00 and 6:30 as arrival times) because at 10 to 6:00 the plane was in. Pat had to get a tourist card before she could leave immigration.

What a reunion! The kids could hardly contain themselves. Laurie preferred Gordie and me. Didn't go to the girls too well. Had an expensive breakfast at the airport (not much to eat, either). Then went back home for breakfast and some naps (Laurie and Pat).

After dinner at the Goddarts, we went downtown to do some window-shopping and get reservations for Pat and Ruth on LAB. Got the reservations, and Pat was thoroughly shocked and disappointed at the price of sourvenirs in Lima. Didn't dare buy anything. Also found out Museum of Archeology is way down on Av. Brasil. By the time we found it, it was 30 min to closing, so we decided to do it tomorrow. It is supposed to be very good.
